Vacation
PGY-1: two(2) weeks paid vacation leave.
PGY-2 through PGY-4: three(3) weeks paid vacation leave.
Parental Leave
Residents may take up to six(6) weeks of leave for birth/adoption.
Sick Leave
The Department and University Hospital allow ten working days of sick leave per year.
Scientific Meetings
All residents may attend one scientific meeting each year of their residency training.
Departmental Library and Computers
The department maintains an extensive library of journals, texts, and educational computer software for your use.
Educational Allowance
Each PGY-2 through PGY-4 resident is allowed an educational allowance of $5000 to be used during the three(3) years of anesthesia training.
